Therefore, survival has largely determined one's future. Thus, understanding his choices and the implications of each opportunity demands his desires and inspires innovation. Each is molded and sold to prospective customers. Humans have always created tools, techniques, or services without prior implementation, which was emerging. Before any new technology, a transition has allowed humans to adapt to their choices. Therefore, familiarity builds over time. This then leads to a comprehension of the tools needed to survive, which have eventually made collective groups productive and competitive. Competition has heightened the demand for all tech-related matters. Technological adoption has led to innovative practices, prompting a desire to change and enhance various business structures. As technological expectations evolve, academia, industry, and government are increasingly seeking to collaborate. The rising expectations are creating a demand for technologists proficient in both old and new technology to support and prepare modern organizations. Modern companies can no longer be “boxed in” into a predefined operation category, but rather seek clarity on technology, when to use it, and its implications. Due to this, “emerging technologies” have emerged.

Students, researchers, and R&D experts from academia and industry working in theoretical and empirical research areas are targeted by this special issue.

Theoretically Oriented Papers

We invite scholars from various regions to share their insights on emerging technologies and innovative business practices, including their historical origins, current research, challenges, future trends, methodological approaches, and regional establishment.

Empirically oriented papers

We prioritize a comprehensive global perspective on new technologies and their creative business strategies worldwide. Submissions are expected to provide research that connects various disciplines at a multidisciplinary level, such as business, computer science, engineering, etc. Thus, appropriate subjects for manuscripts focused on empirical research may include, but are not restricted to, the following:

Artificial Intelligence

Autonomous Vehicles

Big Data Technologies

Blockchain Technology

Cloud or Edge Computing

Computer Vision

Cybersecurity and Cryptography

Data Governance Data Protection Digital Privacy and Online Surveillance

Digital Health

Extended Reality (XR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality ( AR)

Green AI and sustainability

Granular Computing and Fuzzy System

Internet of Things

Machine Learning, Data Mining and Visualization

Optimization Algorithms

Robotics

Smart Manufacturing and Industry 5.0

Statistical Learning

Social Media

Quantum Computing

Notes to prospective authors

Submitted papers must be original and not have been published before or be under review for publication elsewhere. Submission of all papers is required to be done online. Refer to the "Submissions" page for instructions on submitting a paper.
